IO 5 Policy Paper: Inclusion now!
The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities has clearly stated that inclusion should also apply in adult education: people with a disability should be able to participate in adult education in the same way as all other people.
This project attempts to implement the requirements of the UN Convention at five different adult education institutions in Europe. How can inclusion be achieved on the ground - even in places where it has not yet been implemented?
Together with people with disabilities, offers and structures are to be implemented as models. This will result in learning tools so that the experiences can be implemented by other adult education institutions.
